“Bach is Dead” (Piano Prelude 2019) is a brief meditation on mortality and immortality. The iconic B-A-C-H motive (German names for Bb-A-C- B-natural) is featured in transpositions and inversions. To be played “with a hint of desperation.” A performance by the composer from the stay-at-home days of 2020.
