Don Freund’s Seven Violin Duets were inspired by the brilliance and vitality of Mimi Zweig’s Violin Virtuosi from the String Academy of Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music.

Life of the Party

Cello wizard Paul Christopher tears into Don Freund’s Fast Music for solo cello — a new recording of 9 minutes of solo cello virtuosity which flies, propels, drives, flashes, chugs, blurs, and rocks. Paul Christopher is Assistant Professor of Music Theory and Low Strings at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
